Welcome to Vela, operated by Zephyrshop, L.L.C. ("Vela," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using Vela, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Vela.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter this agreement, and not barred under applicable law. One account per person. You're responsible for your account and keeping your credentials secure.

2. Your conduct

You agree to use Vela respectfully and lawfully. You will not:

  • harass, threaten, demean, or discriminate against anyone;
  • post sexual content involving minors, or any content sexualizing minors — ever;
  • send unsolicited explicit content;
  • impersonate anyone, use someone else's photos, or create fake profiles;
  • solicit money, run scams, promote investments, or push people off-platform to defraud them;
  • spam, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service;
  • post illegal content or use Vela for any unlawful purpose.

Our Community Guidelines are part of these Terms. Mutual interest is required before messaging — a built-in safety control.

3. Content you share

You keep ownership of your photos, voice recordings, and messages, and you grant Vela a limited license to host, display, and process them to operate the service (including AI features and safety screening described in the Privacy Policy). You're responsible for content you share and confirm you have the right to share it.

4. Identity verification and safety

Vela uses identity verification and automated safety tools, but we do not conduct criminal background checks and cannot guarantee any user's identity, intentions, or conduct. You are solely responsible for your interactions. Take precautions: meet in public, tell someone your plans, and use the in-app safety check-in features. Use of Vela is at your own risk.

5. Subscriptions, Date Credits, and payments

  • Spark Pass is an auto-renewing subscription ([$12.99]/month) charged through Stripe until you cancel. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings before your renewal date.
  • Date Credits are one-time purchases of virtual items ([$9.99]/pack). Virtual items have no cash value, are non-transferable, and [are non-refundable except where required by law].

6. Termination

You may delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Guidelines, with or without notice, and may remove content at our discretion. Banned users may appeal per our process.

7. Disclaimers

Vela is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that matches, AI suggestions, or the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your expectations.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vela and Zephyrshop, L.L.C. are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for the conduct of any user. Our total liability is limited to [the greater of amounts you paid us in the prior [12] months or $100]. [Counsel to finalize.]
